The Vision Help Foundation’s Board of Directors governs the work of the Foundation,the business and affairs of Vision Help Foundation’s managed by its Board of Directors. Vision Help Foundation’s Board of Directors shapes the Foundation’s direction through its mission, strategy, budget, and key policies; ensures that the leadership.
In addition to regular meetings, the Board meets formally three times each year.

Velly Duverny Founder and Chair of the Board (2019-present)

Velly Duverny is the President of Vision Help Foundation. Prior to co-founding Vision Help Foundation, he has invested over 8 years in the Healthcare Industry. With the establishment of Vision Help Foundation, Velly believes it will have a great impact on Public health, and Education in the most underserved communities on the globe. In addition, Vision Help Foundation works with local organizations and government entities to increase opportunity for orphans and single parents, reduce childhood malnutrition, and help communities improve economic growth in developing countries on the globe.

Velly Duverny has extensive experience in Public Health, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, as well as a passion for helping people identify and address community issues. He has dedicated his professional life to fighting HIV/AIDS by volunteering in HIV/AIDS prevention education in Haiti with various USAID Programs (HIFIVE in 2007,2008. CESUP 2004). He has held various Quality Management, Data Analytics, Consulting positions at HIFIVE USAID, Global Relief Technologies, One World Apparel, Cigna Healthcare, and Nextgen Healthcare.

Velly holds a master’s degree in Healthcare administration (MHA) from Webster University, and a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Missouri St Louis.

Keller Polynice Founder and Vice Chair of the Board (2019-present)

Keller Polynice, Vice Chair of the Vision Help Foundation, works to drive the vision and work of the Foundation. Mr. Keller Polynice is a native of Fond-Parisien, commune de Ganthier. He has a total of 15 years’ experience working in the United States and in Haiti. After graduating from secondary school where he attended Lycée A. Petion, he went to pursue his professional studies at the University of Missouri, Rolla. Upon graduation, Mr. Polynice worked for a few companies in the United States before cofounding the consulting firm, PolyUltra, LLC to provide information technology services to Fortune 500 companies . He subsequently returned to Haiti to invest in job creation and development. Mr. Polynice co-founded PolyUltra-Haiti to provide purified water and commercial ice. He also founded another company called CitCom Plus to provide telecommunication services to design, install, and maintain cellular towers to various companies, such as Digicel and others. Mr. Polynice is very knowledgeable and the various challenges that Haitian leaders are facing and opportunities that the country presents.

Mary Lee Salzer Board Member (2020-present)

Mary Lee Salzer, Board Director of the Vision Help Foundation. Mary Lee Salzer’s background includes extensive experience doing marketing and social service in the healthcare field as well as experience in managed care contracting and compliance, marketing,and development. She has a thorough understanding of the Medicare/Medicaid systems, Consulting, Counseling, Project Management, and Communications, Team Building and Recruiting, Network Development, Corporate Relations, Provider Education/Relations, Census Building, and Fundraising. Most Recently, she served as the Executive Director for @mplify Life and Gateway to Hope and grew those non-profits into regional operations.
She is frequently invited to speak on social service and fundraising topics, including a recent conference for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. As part of the UMSL faculty, she taught Alzheimer’s Association educational courses and other Continuing Education workshops for Social Workers, Case Managers, and Health Care Administrators. Mary Lee has trained field and executive staff on contracting methodologies, and social workers on investigative and ethical concerns.
Mary Lee has devoted her time philanthropically as an ambassador to the Alzheimer’s Association, directs the Kirkwood/Webster Area Senior Response Team, served on the Board of St Louis-Stuttgart Sister Cities and e-Med International, is a part of the auxiliary at the Center for Hearing & Speech of St Louis, and Gilda’s Club St Louis -recently absorbed by the Wellness Community. Other affiliations also include the marketing committee of Springboard for Learning and a Board position at the Missouri Botanical Garden and a recent appointment to the steering committee for Truman State University’s Greek Life Scholarship. Her Passion lies in fundraising for and growing nonprofits.
Ms. Salzer obtained her Bachelor of Science degree of Psychology in Kirksville, Missouri at Northeast Missouri State University, which is now Truman State University.

Jocelyn Jean-Philippe Treasury (2019-present)

Jocelyn Jean-Philippe is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 10 + years of experience in Budget analysis, Financial audits, and Forensic accounting. Jocelyn is currently working as Financial Analyst at CFI (Centre de Facilitation des Investissements), a project sponsored by the Interamerican Bank of Development. Jocelyn joined Vision Help Foundation in 2019 as Treasury and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for managing the financial strategies and oversees all financial aspects of the Foundation. Jocelyn also Oversees record-keeping and internal controls compliance.

Din Paracha Board Director (2019-present)

Din Paracha is a LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER/ DATA ARCHITECT with 17+ years’ experience in software engineering and development, database administration, and software installation.

Performance driven Senior Software Architect with experience in corporate management, strategy, development and implementation. His strengths are in translating business vision and strategy into effective enterprise IT by creating and integrating innovation into the corporate IT environments.

Din holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from University of St. Louis Missouri, and a Master in Statistics from University of Peshawar, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Engineering from System Research Institute.

ADVOCACY BOARD

Dr Ricardy Pierre Board Advisor (2019-present)

Dr. Ricardy Pierre is the president of Acclimate International, LLC. He is a charismatic business leader who enjoys working with leaders and organizations to help them reach their next level.

Prior to joining Acclimate International, he has invested 11 years of his career in the Telecommunications industry in different management and leadership roles in Sales Operation and Sales Management working at Verizon Wireless.

Dr. Pierre earns a master’s degree in Information Technology Management and a Doctorate degree in Management. He is a Business Professor and teaches graduate-level management and organizational behavior courses. He is a proud leader in creating Business Innovative Solutions while making cultural transitions simple for individuals and businesses.

Dr Obianuju Helen OkoyeBoard Adviser (2019-present)

Dr Obianuju Helen Okoye is a Public Health Physician, Healthcare and Business Executive with a Medical Degree (MD), an MBA in Healthcare Management, and a Masters in Epidemiology/Public Health with vast experience in clinical medicine, public health, mental health, HIV, nutrition, telemedicine, and outcomes research.

She has been featured on NBC News, Yahoo News, The Huffington Post, Insider, Tonic by VICE, She Knows, Massage Magazine, Carol Roth, among others. Dr Okoye is a contributing writer to notable platforms such as The Huffington Post, and Entrepreneur magazine, where she has written on the top African Entrepreneurs Changing the Business Landscape. Her background includes being a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical and Research Fellow, and a State of Michigan HIV/AIDS Epidemiologist, and leader in HIV health policy. She has a plethora of clinical research experience.

Dr. Okoye has authored some publications, and is considered an expert on the Affordable Care Act and medical tourism. Dr. Okoye’s health interests include disease prevention, empowering under-served communities globally, bridging access (to) and streamlining the delivery of healthcare services. Her business interests center around helping empower female entrepreneurs. Based in Chicago, Dr Okoye has a strong passion for amplifying the voice of underserved communities at the global table.

Carmelo Desemone Board Adviser (2019-present)

Carmelo Desemone is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in both the state of Missouri & Illinois. He is a current member of The Board of Adjustment for the City of St Louis.

Carmelo joined the Foundation in 2019 as board adviser and helped the foundation developed programs to accomplish its Vision.

Before joining the Vision Help Foundation, he was in public service with the City of St. Louis for 34 years. He has served on other non-for-profit boards and fraternal organization and brings his knowledge and expertise to the foundation.

Carmelo is currently working as a Real Estate Broker at Century 21 Bailey & Company. Prior to his position at Century 21 Bailey & Co., he worked with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alliance Real Estate, The Blasingame Group and RealtyNET Kratky Team.

Carmelo is a mature and seasoned goal minded individual committed to bring a wide range of experience and expertise to any and all endeavors with which he is involved

He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Management from Webster University.
